A poem to be spoken silently

It was so silent that I heard

                                                the man on the moon

                                                shouting to me…

It was so still that I felt

                                                 a guitar’s vibration

                                                 move me…

IT was so silent that I heard

                                                 the world

                                                  on its axis…

It was so still that I felt

                                                 the dangers from underground

                                                 shimmer my feet

                                                 as they scuttled freely…
